At Lv3 the biggest boost occurs, making your armour incredibly beefy regardless of which you use (and synergising amazingly with the different regen method). Only shows odd numbers and 0 (nothing unlocked/no perk deck equipped) as even numbers are identical bonuses and therefore do not impact the perk deck's individual power.Īnarchist starts off strong, with its unique armour regeneration system and, more importantly at Lv1, the 2s invuln when it breaks. I should mention that I know perk decks aren't all equal and "power" is a very loose metric, but I think it should suffice for these purposes. To explain what I mean, I like to think of it as a graph.

Once you cap it out with Enduring this isn't an issue, as the bonus HP on cleanse can make you go HP-positive from the affair, but while briefly trying it out and trying to get a bit of EXP to put towards maxxing out the deck, I've found it pretty unbearable to use, and just swapped over to Armourer until I've farmed enough to complete it.Ĭompare with Anarchist, where Blitzkrieg Bop sets the baseline - armour regenerates during combat, and when it breaks, you get 2s of invuln - and Straight Edge powers it up significantly, then it gradually gains further bonuses.Ĭertainly, there's others like Rogue where it's all incremental - +X% Dodge each time, so at the first section you're nowhere near full power - but in these cases it's a fairly-consistent curve of power - unlock the next Rogue perk (IE every-other perk) and you get another +X% Dodge. This is a massive issue if you've not completely unlocked the perk deck, because even if you cleanse the DoT, the 25% of the damage that isn't converted into the DoT has still chipped off part of your HP - If I'm thinking correctly here, it's better to stop at Helmet Popping because at least then the chip damage is only from the DoT. This is especially noticeable once you unlock Unmoved, as you lose all your armour, meaning all damage taken goes to your HP. Since damage 'deferred' by the Perk Deck is applied directly to HP, any time you take damage, you're being chipped down, whereas normally you'd use your armour to avoid it.
